About

"You only get one life. You can either choose to follow your passion, or you will regret all of the chances you didn’t take." - Krista

Thank you for stopping by!  My name is Krista Hoose (pronounced Hose), and music is my passion, whether it is performing, writing, learning, teaching, or listening.  I have been playing guitar and singing for audiences since age 6, back when I wanted to be Wynonna Judd when I grew up.  After college and several years later getting burned out in my career in the pharmaceutical industry, I returned to my first love - music!

Currently, I play and sing solo, in duos, in the trio Krista & the Night Shift, and with the female-led Indy Annies, and I am a multi-instrument instructor at Legends Music Academy.  My roots are in country music, but I am all for a well-written song!  Check out some of my favorite covers and original songs below, at www.facebook.com/kristahoosemusic, or on my YouTube channel.

For booking, cowriting, fill-in (lead/rhythm guitar, bass, drums), or teaching info, please reach out below, on Facebook, or email ladydawgrx@gmail.com!  Thank you for your time!

Krista, My wife and I caught your first set with Randy at Barringers. Blew us away. Thank you for the McBryde and McBride. We will be following you. Remember to look up Horses in Heaven by Kylie Frey. You would sing it so well
